Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin disclosed that the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program has received 267 new applications since its resumption and that 1,461 persons had sought to withdraw from the program between September 2021 and June this year.

Notably, the ECRL alignment in Selangor, or Section C, is separated into two sections: one from Mentakab to the Gombak Integrated Transport Terminal (Section C1) and the other from Gombak to Port Klang through Serendah. Bernama reported (Section C2).
“The ECRL Line for Section C2 extends 74.25km and serves four stations: Serendah Baru (passenger and freight), Puncak Alam (passenger station), Kapar (passenger station), and Port Klang (passenger and cargo),” Tengku Zafrul wrote on Facebook.
In May, the minister met with 25 Puncak Alam resident organisations, who expressed a variety of issues, including the necessity for an ECRL station.
